December 2009 - The museum's MOT patrol car in the Dannevirke Christmas parade.

2010 - Television breakfast show segments beamed out live from Dannevirke, with the museum MOT car as a centre piece to the local input.

July 25, 2010 – International Police Museum opens it’s doors………..

 The International Police Museum was opened oficially be the Mayor of the Taurarua District, Maureen Reynolds.

A great turnout of locals and also visiting Police memorabilia collectors with patrol cars, enlivened the day.
