International Police Museum & Museum Lodge


THE MUSEUM IS OPEN FOR THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS EACH DAY 1200-1600 (12-4pm) weekdays and 1000-1500 (10am-3pm) each weekend now through to SUnday 24 July - come and enjoy the new vehicles and displays.

After the school holidays (9-24 July), THE MUSEUM WILL THEN REOPEN ON SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS ONLY 10am to 3pm.

The International Police Museum and Museum Lodge bed and breakfast accommodation, are both located in the same building in Dannevirke, New Zealand.

Located in the Tararua District with easy access to the Manawatu and Hawkes Bay regions of New Zealand, and within close driving distance to many wineries as well as tourist attractions.





The International Police Museum specialises in International Police memorabilia, vehicles and displays, as well as New Zealand Police and Ministry of Transport items.


Museum Lodge is a wonderfull and comfortable accommodation for all.

3 diferent accommodation options with two upstairs.

We are able to provide suitable access for a family in our separate downstairs suite, as well as for those with disabilities who can be assured of a warm and friendly stay.

Those of the rainbow community ( GLBTTI ) can also be assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
